Design and develop robust, scalable, and reliable software solutions that handle massive amounts of data. You will use C++ to implement features and algorithms for the Azure Storage platform, which powers some of the world's largest cloud services.Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code using C++. You will follow coding standards and guidelines, use modern tools and frameworks, and apply engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Collaborate with other teams across Azure Storage to develop seamless and efficient solutions for customers. You will work with engineers, product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements, design the architecture, and deliver the features.Perform on-call duty as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI). You will monitor systems/products/services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions. You will alert stakeholders about status and initiate actions to restore systems/products/services.Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions. You will share your knowledge and expertise, learn from others, and contribute to the improvement of the team and the product.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, or related technical field AND experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Experience in software development methodologies, tools, and practices.Experience in Performance Measurement/Benchmarking of hardware or software services/components and/or experience on pure performance improvements of hardware or software services/components.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics and Telecommunication or related technical field AND 1+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR master's degree in computer science, Electronics and Telecommunication or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Solid problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
