Platform Engineer

We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our client in Austin. As a key member of our security group, you will will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing platform infrastructure, primarily based on Kubernetes and AWS. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and analytics engineers to define optimal service deployments and streamline our development processes.Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management: Maintain and extend existing platform infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes and AWS.Tool Development: Create scripts and tools to streamline development workflows and enhance operational efficiency.Collaboration: Partner with backend, frontend, and analytics engineers to optimize service deployments on our infrastructure.Team Contributions: Contribute ideas and solutions in a collaborative and supportive team environment.Customer Interaction: Work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external customers and game teams globally.Requirements:5+ years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer.Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc. OR relevant professional experienceStrong understanding of modern cloud deployment architectures utilizing Terraform and/or Kubernetes.Experience with AWS-based cloud services such as RDS, Elasticsearch, S3, EKS, etc.Experience with languages such as Python, Java, and TypescriptOrganized, detail-oriented and able to deliver projects on time.Compensation: $120,000 - 160,000 + Medical Benefits, 401k, Transit & Parking BenefitsSalary range is determined based on factors such as relevant experience, expertise, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
