We’re looking for a top-tier analytics professional to deliver insights that drive growth. As a Senior Data Analyst at Clair, you’ll join a growing team of data practitioners who are passionate about bringing financial security to underserved communities by giving workers access to their earnings right when they need them. As a trusted thought partner to product and business teams, you’ll surface impactful insights supporting their goals. Through experimentation, analysis, modeling, and dashboard development, you’ll surface recommendations to enable Clair to reach millions of hourly workers and help them get paid on demand.The ideal candidate will consider themselves a “full stack” data analyst with experience across the entire data pipeline, including data ingestion, processing, modeling, and visualization. This person will be comfortable with the analytics engineering workflow, mixing technical proficiency with the ability to engage stakeholders across the organization.What will you do at Clair?Leverage data to drive user growth, identify trends, and influence product and business decisionsPartner with business stakeholders across the organization to answer questions and test hypothesesDefine and manage key metrics that inform strategic product, growth, and operational decisions, ensuring alignment with business goalsPut data at the fingertips of stakeholders and enable them to independently explore and utilize dataBuild efficient data ingestion and transformation pipelines using tools like dbtDevelop intuitive dashboards, memos, slides, and other visualizations that tell stories and inspire actionCollaborate to brainstorm ideas, verify analyses, and review the work of your peers to ensure accuracy and qualityQualifications3–5 years of professional experience in the data analytics fieldFluent in SQL (translating business questions to queries, understanding joins and functions, and building data pipelines)Experience with experimentation and statistical analysis to guide decision-makingPassionate about building the best version of whatever you’re working onThings We Consider a PlusExperience with the modern data stack, including Snowflake, dbt, TableauExperience with a scripting language like Python or RInterest in financial systems and consumer behaviorExperience with machine learning or statistical modelingExperience in a high-growth start-up environmentAdditional DetailsLocation: This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in our NYC office.Compensation: The annual base salary for this role is $143,000-$153,000. The actual base pay within this range depends on many factors, such as education, skills and experience. Base pay is only one part of Clair’s competitive total compensation package which includes benefits, perks and equity.
