Engineer for our Middleware/API engineering team. This team is responsible for building the Customer facing Omni Channel Services Document current state business workflows.Applying design patterns in developing scalable and highly performant application/featuresWriting code and unit tests, automation, code reviews and testingDeploying to production and dev opsWork with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues.Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team.Quickly generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedback. Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices.Primary hiring location is Phoenix and will be on-site but may consider applicants in Dallas with the right skills.Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of Java/Functional programming experienceA minimum of one year of experience with Cloud Stack, Microsoft Azure, etc.High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of KafkaExperience with banking domainExperience designing and supporting customer facing RESTful APIs.Thorough understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentalsGood understanding of design concepts and design patternsDemonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts.Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, product, and experience owners.
