As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and deploying system configurations, ensuring seamless operation across a variety of devices and platforms, including laptops, mobile devices, desktops, and printers. You will also support troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, providing advanced technical support, and delivering high-quality customer service. Additionally, you will create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes and technologies, act as a technical resource for remote users, and manage software patching and application deployments.End date:

Manage and deploy system configurations for laptops, mobile devices, desktops (Windows and Mac), and printers.Ensure proper setup and functionality of mobile platforms and applications and other business-critical tools.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented application processes, technologies, and configurations.Ensure documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer systems, including hardware, software, email, network, and peripheral equipment.Provide timely repairs and corrections as required to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.Act as a technical resource in assisting remote users with equipment and data-related issues, ensuring swift resolution.Deliver quality customer service by effectively troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical inquiries.Communicate complex technical issues in terms that are easily understood by non-technical users.Apply knowledge of networking and wireless communications to manage and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.Support the implementation and maintenance of secure and efficient network environments.Review, test, and deploy software patches and PC-based applications to ensure systems remain secure and up-to-date.Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute software updates with minimal disruption to users.Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as mobile platforms.Experience with troubleshooting and repairing hardware, software, and network issues.Familiarity with networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless communication technologies.Ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable terms for end users.Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing responsive and effective support.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent and is a plus.Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions is a plus.Knowledge of scripting or automation tools to streamline IT processes is a plus.Experience with remote support tools and practices.Experience with Microsoft computer systems, End User devices, Azure, M365, Intune.Experience with ITSM systems such as Service-Now, ConnectWise, ServiceDesk Plus.Available for early morning shift and flexible.Ability to lift and transport IT equipment such as laptops, desktops, and printers.Comfortable working outside regular business hours when necessary.The Community FoodBank of New Jersey provides food for people in need while striving to end hunger in our state.
