Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics Job Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Job Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant experience preferred License: South Carolina RRT license must be in hand at time of start Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Job Description: - Must start between November 11 - December 11 for an 8-week assignment. - No holiday RTO. Must be willing to work the holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. - No on-call requirement. - Floating within scope to meet facility needs depends on experience. - Will not float to sister facilities. - First-time applicants accepted. - Open to accommodating a block schedule with prior approval, although not guaranteed. - Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis, with specific conditions. - All requested time off must be included during submission, as approval is based on manager/unit needs. - Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours. - Facility is a teaching hospital with a Magnet status and a Level 1 Trauma center, having 865 staffed beds. - Travelers should be aware of responsibilities during hurricane season and must be willing to participate in emergency response teams if necessary. - Flu vaccine is required, with only medical/religious exemptions considered. - Covid-19 vaccine is not required.
