Security Architect - Consultant

Experience in security as related to multi-tenant, cloud services and vendor interface management would be considered desirable for this position. Technical Knowledge: Hands on experience or working knowledge of any or all of the following technologies and principles: 1. Linux and Windows servers 2. Network Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Switching and Routing Infrastructure 3. Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security 4. Vulnerability management and penetration testing 5. Cloud security and technologies 6. Web Application security 7. Knowledge of enterprise internetworking communications Essential Responsibilities 1. Assist in the design, development, implementation and/or ongoing maturation of SCDHHS security and compliance solutions 2. Review and create Technical Reference Architecture standards 3. Perform Security Impact Analysis and security reviews 4. Review current system security measures and recommend implementation enhancements 5. Consult, advise or oversee the secure design of key IT system and infrastructure projects to ensure alignment with enterprise security architecture. 5 years of experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability
