The Alloy Group is partnered with a Joint Venture Start Up in Byhalia, MS. We are seeking local and relocatable Engineers for this new facility.

Relocation package is available!

This is a start up, and will require some international travel during the design and implementation phases of the machinery for the new facility.

***This will be a full-time. onsite position, and this will not be a remote position.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalentMinimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with multiple new equipment design/installations and large manufacturing lines implementationProficiency in industrial engineering concepts such as line balancing and timing chartsAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationallyProficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred, Catia is a plus) for designing mechanical equipment, fixturing, and toolingUnderstanding of tolerance stack-up and manufacturing equipment safety systems (Safety PLCs, safety category requirements, robot safety, safety guarding, light curtains, LOTO, etc.)PLC controls experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and/or Beckhoff)Experience with MES and database system architecture and data tracking; Python and/or MYSQL experienceWhat the Job Will Look Like:

Contributing to the development, installation, and implementation of battery cell manufacturing equipmentTaking equipment from rough concepts to full productionManaging equipment suppliers or internal design teams through development and deployment milestonesDeveloping station requirements, including work content, automation vs. manual processes, buffering strategy, and redundancy requirementsWorking with industrial engineering to develop material flow strategy within the factoryIdentifying utilities needed and utility distribution strategy (PDPs, compressed air, process water, etc.)Completing process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA)Developing equipment timing chartsOverseeing equipment installation and coordinating with building and utilities teamsDeveloping equipment validation plans and executing themCreating detailed Manufacturing Instructions to document new processes
