Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will be a member of a collaborative technical support team. You will have the opportunity to provide technical support for our world class magnetic and vortex flow meters that global industrial customers use to measure flow of their products.

Emerson's Flow Meters are used in industrial flow applications across industries such as oil & gas, chemical, metals & mining, pulp & paper, pharmaceutical and food & beverage.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Provide intermediate level pre-sale and post-sale technical support for designated products and digital communication types: can perform and direct efficient troubleshooting in industrial flow applications and products within the applications to resolve customer issues.Utilize informational tools and databases to access product information to support customer product application issues.Early catch up of any product and applications issues; pull-in product company resources as needed to quickly rectify all issues.Participate in continuous improvement programs.Maintains close ties with marketing and design engineering to understand and promote business unit initiatives.Review product literature and provide feedback to marketing/literature groups.Recognizes and works well in all company and customer forms of communication.Maintains knowledge of company's products, completes training to develop product/support skillsWho You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:

4-year Engineering/Technical degree with 2 years of relevant work experience - or 4 year Business degree combined with at least 4 years relevant work experience - or 2 year Technical degree with electrical/mechanical emphasis and 6 years related experienceMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams &/or Webex) plus Adobe PDFSome travel to be expectedLegal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

4-year Engineering DegreeExperience with industrial instrumentation, such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensorsExperience with digital communications protocols, such as HART, Foundation Fieldbus, ModbusExperience with field service for industrial facilities
