Job SummaryWorking as an Assistant Controller you will be responsible for assisting with monthly, quarterly and fiscal close, including preparation of financial statements for assigned Divisions or Subsidiaries. The successful candidate will be highly motivated professional with proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with various team members and levels of management. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute billings to clientsReview of general ledger and balance sheet and resolve reconciliation issuesTrack and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activityAssist with review and reconciliation of credit card and cash transactionsAssist in preparation of various State and Local sales tax returnsHandle special projects as needed Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent professional experienceA minimum of two years of corporate accounting experience preferrably in a retail industryExperience in a POS, cash and credit card environmentStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic work environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient knowledge of Excel requiredWorking experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP software a plus Apply to Canteen todayCanteen is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
