About the Company
- A growing architecture firm is seeking a Specifications Writer to join one of our office locations. This role involves collaborating with project teams to develop project manuals and assist in quality control by reviewing drawings. The Specifications Writer will also support product and system research and implementation into the design.About the Role
- Develop and produce project manuals and addenda for various project types, including writing specifications and front-end documents. Assist project teams with product and system research, implementation into drawings and specifications, and review product substitutions and value engineering items. Review drawings for coordination issues and quality control, providing feedback to project teams. Maintain specification standards, design guidelines, and front-end documents. - Bachelor’s Degree required; a professional degree in Architecture from an accredited university is preferred. Registered Architect and LEED® AP credentials are desirable. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture, particularly on commercial projects. Experience in K-12 and higher education market sectors is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of architectural practice and construction industry.Required SkillsStrong skills in assembling detailed specifications.Proficiency with industry software such as Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office, and SpecLink.Preferred SkillsCritical and creative thinking abilities.Thorough, precise, and strong follow-up skills.Achievement-oriented and driven to complete tasks.Pay range and compensation package
