Job Description for Facility Bulk Gas Technician

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance duties including but not limited to the operation, maintenance, and repair of the bulk gas systems to meet the required standards of purity, quality, and facility performance.

Participation in the development of equipment start-up, shut-down, and preventative maintenance tasks, and procedures; Including but not limited to the development of SOP's, LOTO, JHA, etc.).

Promote and build a team environment, train, and assist in the growth of co-workers.

Provide customer satisfaction and support; must conduct work in an independent manner.

Verify the receipt of materials and goods received and work with purchasing and FOG Inventory to establish new or renew existing PO's as well as set up parts and materials in inventory of the CMMS system.

Assist with the training of technicians within the department.

Manage upcoming departmental projects by gathering and pre-fabricating materials, scheduling manpower and coordinating work among various shifts and with vendors to avoid impact and addressing system instrumentation issues.

Assist with projects by coordinating with contractors on system/equipment modifications.

Assist with utility tool turn on and turn-offs.

Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements for Facility Bulk Gas technician

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience in cryogenic gas storage and dispensing systems including nitrogen generator operation.

Good mechanical aptitude and general understanding of facility needs for semiconductor tools.

Ability to work extended hours and during planned shutdown periods.

This is an essential personnel position for the maintenance and operation of the campus during emergency situations.

Excellent communication skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office and Maintenance Management Programs.

This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
