Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to be based primarily at our Academic Medical Center, located in Lebanon, NH.
The Behavior Intervention Team is a multi-disciplinary, proactive psychiatric consultative service that serves patients admitted to the medical and surgical services with psychiatric, substance use and other behavioral needs. The position includes direct consultation to patients, staff and trainee education, acting as a peer expert, participation in departmental and institutional committees and quality improvement initiatives. Opportunities for research participation and other academic projects are also available, as well as for initiative and leadership in developing services which respond to patient care demands. This service is also an important rotation for APRN students, and teaching and supervision are key aspects of this position.
