Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Security Analyst II:
- Perform as an incident responder, handling investigations, triaging, analyzing, and reporting- Monitor and respond to security incidents involving traditional and cloud-based infrastructure- Apply knowledge of recognized information security related standards and analysis frameworks- Work under pressure and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines across a global enterprise- Maintain familiarity with enterprise security controls and security best practices for various systems- This is a 3-month contract position- A four-year degree is preferred, an Associate Degree in Information Security, industry certification, or work equivalent is required
Required Skills for Security Analyst II:
- 3+ years of systems engineering experience and cybersecurity work- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Proficiency with Linux administration- Experience with information security SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and application scanners- Familiarity with programming and scripting using Python, Linux shell scripts, regex- Experience with DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, Unix-based command line
