Job Summary:Primary focus of this position is that of an internal support and infrastructure specialist. We are looking for someone with hands on experience working with end users and IT infrastructure that is willing and able to learn about and help support our IT environment, user onboarding, SD WAN network, enterprise security using best in class tools like EDR/XDR solutions, Antivirus, and Security Awareness Training and help manage and monitor our 24/7 helpdesk partner. This position reports to the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager.Key Duties and Responsibilities of the
Technology Infrastructure Specialist:General OperationsPerforms all duties safely, follows all safety guidelines, and proactively participates in site safety programsInstalls, modifies, and makes repairs to desktop hardware and software systems, and provides technical assistance and training regarding such to system usersOnboarding and offboarding of team members and initial deployment and introduction to new team members, including training on IT security and general use policies.Manage IT Support tickets by updating, closing and assigning each escalated ticket through IT Support Portal (outsourced help desk vendor)Install hardware and peripheral components (such as monitors, keyboards, local and network printers, and disk drives, etc) for usersLoad and configure specified software packages such as operating systems, and IT approved applications onto desktop computers through software deployment toolsAnswer inquiries in person/telephone/email concerning IT technical issuesDiagnose system hardware, software, and operator problemsRecommend or perform minor remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operationInstall and support telephone equipment, including desk sets, voicemail system, new user setup, etcRepair issues with the local network, including cabling and networking equipment, etc.Ability to move heavy IT equipment when necessaryPerformance Standards (the criteria that will be used to evaluate performance):Timely onboarding of new users and ongoing knowledge transferDevice imaging and patchingWhat We Are Looking For in a
