The HRIS Specialist and Team Lead performs a variety of duties including collecting, organizing, and maintaining important data and reporting based on specific needs within the organization. Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the HRIS System and its interactions with other systems. The individual functions as a lead with various task when the Manager is unavailable.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

*5 years of related experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

*Intermediate experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

*Professional level of confidentiality in handling employee information.

*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

*Understanding of information systems with an understanding of at least one HRIS product including time tracking and maintenance. Experience with ADP a plus.

Functions

Area of Responsibilities

*Provides HRIS support including research and troubleshooting HR-related process workflows and issues and responding to ADP Help inquiries. Makes recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.

*Serves as a consultant to employees, timekeepers and managers regarding HRIS functions including Advanced Scheduler, Time, and HR-related payroll functions. Performs timecard audits and HRIS system audit reconciliation, and provides assistance to Managers and Timekeepers for time and attendance issues.

*Develops and delivers training to employees, timekeepers and managers on payroll-related HR topics and Vantage training.

*Creates, generates and maintains effective HR reporting to meet regulatory obligations and facilitate strategic workforce planning and other organizational goals. Delivers daily, weekly, monthly reporting and responds to ad hoc requests. (EEO1, D&O applications, Press Ganey demographics file, AHQ, etc.) Completes data bridges for pay adjustments, pay for performance increase, multi license nurse reporting, ABBR, STD, LTD, and monitors Evercheck, Quickcharge, and Healthstream interfaces.

*Performs duties to maintain confidentiality and integrity of HR data. Administers HRIS security functions including registration codes and password resets. Completes time setup of employee groups, jobs and organizational maps.

*Maintains working knowledge of HR and payroll-related laws and regulations.

*Provides assistance and supports the Human Resources team on projects as directed.

*Assists with regulatory activities, i.e. The Joint Commission, State Surveys, CAP surveys to include continual readiness preparation activities.

*Serves as a Team lead.

*Leads the acquisitions process for the HRIS system ensuring that all paperwork, license certifications, onboarding documents are completed in a timely manner prior to go-live and assistance with setting all staff up with proper access to the HRIS system.

Compliance Statement

Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.
