Job Summary:TriStar Southern Hills is seeking a family medicine physician for a core faculty position within our community-based outpatient residency program in Nashville, TN.
Qualified Candidates:
Board certified by the ABMS in family medicineTennessee licensure or ability to obtainDemonstrate interest in the education of residentsCommitment to leadership in resident education and program administrationCompassion, professionalism, and dedication to lifelong learningAdditional language skills, specifically Spanish and Arabic, are preferred, but not requiredCore Faculty Responsibilities:
Split time between educational, administrative, and clinical careServe as a role model, mentor, and advisor to residents in the programParticipate in the selection, orientation, and evaluation of residentsContribute to the development of program curriculum and evaluation toolsProvide appropriate levels of resident supervision to ensure patient safetySupport the Program Director (PD) and Associate Program Director (APD) in the implementation of policies and procedures consistent with institutional and program requirementsAssist with the incorporation and application of ACGME Milestones into evaluation toolsParticipate in program evaluation and clinical competency committeesPrepare and deliver structured educational activities as requested by the APD or PDParticipate in scholarship, preferably in collaboration with residentsActively participate in faculty development initiativesIncentive/Benefits Package:
