This role involves reviewing returns, developing a talented tax team, and overseeing client accounts for businesses across multiple industries. Salary Range:
$150,000 - $170,000 / year DOE
Tax Manager Responsibilities:Oversee all tax department operations, assuming ownership and working to align processes with best practicesProvide team leadership, focusing on training and developing tax staff to ensure quality in return preparationReview complex business and individual tax returnsAct as a client-facing representative, fostering strong client relationships and addressing client needs proactivelyManage tax planning and compliance services, including bookkeeping, tax prep, and tax planning for businesses and business ownersEnsure timely filing of a high volume of returns per yearCollaborate with leadership on potential improvements in software, processes, and team structureTax Manager Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA certificationMinimum 7 years of public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management capacityProficiency in QuickBooksStrong client engagement and interpersonal skillsProven ability to train, mentor, and develop team membersCurrent or recent experience in public accountingBenefits:
