MIPS is seeking a Product Marketing Engineer to be responsible for all Go-to-Market activities worldwide for high-performance compute applications such as automotive, embedded and Power/Energy. In this role you will be responsible for all customer and partner engagement activities for these key market segments and grow demand for current products while defining and leading the creation of the next generation. You will work closely with sales and FAEs to engage our partners. This is an excellent opportunity to work with industry leaders to help to identify and define creative solutions for the future.

You will:

Create and execute a global marketing plan to expand MIPS brand and online presenceWork with business unit and R&D leads to create marketing driven product roadmap, and portfolio campaign strategiesCreate competitive analysis that includes a technical side-by-side feature comparison, bench testing with analysis of performance in steady state, BOM cost analysis and review of all external components for appropriateness and potential substitution if ableCreation of collateral including presentations and white papers, for your products and their applicability to customer applicationsBe the main contact for PR agencies and drive overall strategy for productPerform ongoing market research to look for new trends or sub-segments in the high-performance compute space and identify new potential customersIdeally, you'll have:

RISC-V CPU, ARM, MIPS,IC architectures and performance understandingsStrategic planning, analyzing business developments, sales forecasting and monitoring marketing trends for semiconductor productsBusiness Development to drive revenue and market share growthBachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of advanced technical marketing & roadmap strategy development experience in high performance compute markets.A plus if you have:

Knowledge of functional safety for automotiveExperience in a technical customer-facing roleFamiliarity with automotive or datacenter SW ecosystems

$130,000 - $190,000 a year

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $130,000 - $190,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
