The ideal candidate will have litigation experience in employment law and will manage both pre-litigation and litigation matters, with responsibilities ranging from client advocacy to court representation.Duties:Investigate employment claims and draft demand letters during the pre-litigation phase.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in employment disputes.Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and motions, and representing clients in court.Provide clear legal advice and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the legal process.Manage a diverse caseload efficiently using legal tools and case management systems.Contribute to the firm’s growth by mentoring junior attorneys and participating in leadership roles.Requirements:1-2 years of litigation experience, with a focus on employment law.Strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience with case management software such as Clio or HubSpot.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of California.Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.Excellent communication and client management skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities for handling a busy caseload.Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required.This position is ideal for a motivated attorney looking to advance their career in employment law while contributing to a growing law firm’s success.
