We look to leverage the latest technologies, best in industry equipment, and up-to-date construction and safety practices to build a first-class fiber optic utility construction firm in multiple markets throughout the US.We need skilled CDL Driver/ Laborers who are local to the Reno, NV area. This position will report to the Director of Operations and represents an opportunity to join an awesome team on the ground floor, learn a lot, and have a ton of fun as GRC grows!Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Laborer with CDL A is responsible for general laborer duties and support on construction sitesUse various equipment, hand and power toolsPrepare ground trenches for pipes and utility linesRemove, fill or compact earthSignal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade and utility safety standards.Responsible for the site set-up and clean-upLoad and unload tools, materials and equipment on truckWill be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting constructionSetting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging trafficMay be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completedAbility to follow instructionsDriving heavy equipment/hauling materials, requires a CDL A LicenseExperience:Commercial driving and/or heavy equipment operation (>1 year)License/Certification:CDL A (Required)Benefits:Health insuranceDental InsuranceVision insurancePaid time off401(K)$26 ‒ $30 HourlyGlass Roots Construction, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
