The CAD Designer is a lead technical support role in our Fort Worth Headquarters.Responsibilities
Using established CAD standards and design criteria to independently design civil infrastructure and site improvements and prepare construction plan drawings based on that design, under the direction and supervision of a professional engineerOrganizing and scheduling work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelinesCoordination with engineers and other design team membersPlotting and assembling construction plans, exhibits, specifications, etcAssist in the oversight of CAD systems & standardsRequirementsEducation/CertificationHigh School graduate or GED requiredPost High School technical coursework, certification or degree in computer drafting/design or related fieldProfessionalResponsive and results oriented in service to clientsMinimum ten (10) years of civil CAD experience on a variety of projects preferredMastery of AutoCAD Civil 3D, as well as Microsoft Word and ExcelDemonstrated experience in actual design of water, sewer, streets, grading and drainage projectsDemonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships with other team membersAbility to quickly adapt to and adopt new CAD standards and proceduresCommitment to quality in the design and presentation of drawingsBenefitsA competitive hourly wage, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experienceOvertime pay for additional hours worked in excess of 40 hoursGenerous performance-based bonus opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurance, all beginning on the first day of employmentLife and disability insuranceA 401(k) plan with a partial company matchA Health Savings AccountPaid time offIn-office gymAn extensive learning and development programTuition reimbursementFinancial Advising
