Position Description:
Project Purpose: Deliver, validate, and maintain on-board diagnostic (OBD) solutions for powertrain technologies needed to meet global diagnostic regulatory requirements. Project Expectations: Develop and deliver Reliability and Robustness Documentation (DFMEA, P-Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, Calibration Guidelines, Diagnostics Operations Summary, Fault Demonstration Methods) Perform diagnostic routines, report findings and give recommendations to improve system reliability and durability. Perform HIL/SIL, on-road, emissions, and/or dynamometer data collection to validate and calibrate diagnostic monitoring capability of new powertrain technologies. Identify and aid in resolving OBD issues with internal and external stakeholders. Author scripts using Matlab, Python, and/or other scripting languages to analyze system/diagnostic behavior and support the calibration process.

Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of product development system engineering principles Working knowledge of basic combustion engine operating principles Understanding basic principles of controls engineering Knowledge of OBD regulations (EPA and CARB) Exerience with calibration development tool
Experience Required:
1 year minimum experience in automotive product development

BSEE, BSME and/or BS-Computer Science/Engineering
