Corporate Transactions Associate
to join their growing
Corporate Practice Group
in
Charlotte (link removed) This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic attorney to work on sophisticated business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and corporate governance matters for a diverse range of clients.
Candidate Profile:
JD
from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the
North Carolina Bar (link removed)>4-6 years
of substantive experience in
corporate transactions , including
M&A,
corporate governance , and
general commercial transactions (link removed)>Proven experience in drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, and advising clients on deal structures, including those in the manufacturing, renewable energy, automotive, and healthcare industries.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, including drafting, negotiation, and closing of transaction documents.Provide guidance on corporate governance issues and assist clients in structuring and executing business transactions.
Conduct due diligence reviews and prepare related reports.
Collaborate with other attorneys to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality legal services.
Represent clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, automotive, life sciences and biotechnology, health care, energy, food and beverage, environmental, and waste services and recycling sectors.
Manage all aspects of transactional matters from inception to completion.
