SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions is seeking an
Environmental Sales Manager
for its client in the
Chicago area.
The person will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our environmentally sustainable solutions within the designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must be in Minnesota.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the designated territory.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to demonstrate product offerings and highlight their benefits.
Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
Act as a subject matter expert on renewable energy solutions, providing guidance and support to clients.
Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, including the preparation of proposals and contracts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of projects and services.
Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights using CRM tools and other reporting mechanisms.
Provide feedback to management on sales strategies and customer needs to drive product development and improvements.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our solutions and expand professional networks.
Engage with local stakeholders and organizations to foster partnerships and community engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Business, Sales, or a related field.
3+ years of sales experience in the renewables, environmental services, or related industries.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client relationships.
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, environmental regulations, and sustainability practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
