Ag Processing Inc is currently hiring for a warehouse supervisor at our soy processing facility in Ag Processing Inc is currently hiring for a shift supervisor at our soy processing facility in Sheldon, IA. The person in this role will assist with the day-to-day operations through providing management support throughout the plant. The shift supervisor will also assist with training employees, enforcing company policies and procedures, and will ensure that quality standards are being met.

Responsibilities:

Provide management support through supervising the plant workers' activities including training employees, determining methods for employee work, and scheduling.Monitor and maintain processing supply inventory through completing orders of supplies and documenting amount of supplies on hand.Enforce company policies and procedures.Develop and manage projects as assigned.Attend company meetings.Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Experience in supervising employees through training and motivating.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience using computers and other office equipment.Capable of sound decision making.Great team player and takes initiative.Mechanically savvySafety conscientious.Highly organized and strong attention to detail.Capable of working with diverse group of individuals.Knowledge of hazard communication standards and PSM, preferred.Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.Five years or equivalent in related field is preferred.Minimum of a high school education or equivalent is required. Technical degree is preferred.
