Overview:My client is seeking an experienced
Senior FPGA Engineer
to join their team in developing cutting-edge trading solutions. As a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing FPGA-based systems to support their proprietary trading algorithms. You will collaborate closely with traders, software engineers, and quantitative researchers to deliver high-performance FPGA solutions that drive their trading strategies.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize FPGA-based solutions for low-latency trading systems.Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to understand trading strategies and translate them into FPGA implementations.Implement trading algorithms and logic in Verilog or VHDL.Carry out coding in C++Work closely with software engineers to integrate FPGA solutions into our trading platform.Perform performance analysis and optimization of FPGA designs to meet stringent latency and throughput requirements.Stay informed about the latest advancements in FPGA technology and trading algorithms, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.Qualifications:Commercial experience with FPGA/ASIC design and verificationExperience developing reusable IPs and scaling to multiple target platformsStrong working knowledge of either SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDLIn-depth knowledge of common FPGA toolsKnowledge of C++ requiredExperience with CMake is desirableFamiliarity with common scripting languages TCL/Python/BashWorking experience with high-speed transceivers, common networking protocols, and packet processing is preferredUniversity degree in EE or CS
