Position Overview:
The Product Development Electrical Engineer will support various phases of projects, from concept generation to final hardware delivery and production. This role will primarily focus on designing and developing motor controller systems, which are crucial for efficient power conversion and management.Responsibilities:Design and select components for motor drive electrical systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards for power conversion.Develop control systems to regulate the performance of motor controllers.Specify safety features for electrical systems, contributing to overall system reliability.Conduct power conversion analyses to ensure effective energy management across systems.Create and revise electrical schematics and models, adhering to best practices in power electronics.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery, including customer communication and compliance with safety regulations.Minimum Requirements:B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering.3-5 years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, particularly in motor control or related fields.Proficiency in PLC programming (PC WORX preferred) and familiarity with control systems design.
