Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory/Interventional Laboratory Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Varies (07:00-15:30; 08:00-16:30; 09:00-17:30; Weekends only when on call) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology experience License: Licensed ARRT for the state of Illinois Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: - Experience scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures including coronary interventions and STEMIs - Experience scrubbing pacemaker and defibrillator device implants - Experience scrubbing interventional radiology procedures - Capability to scrub cardiac cath cases and execute STEMI programs Job Description: - Work in a facility with 4 procedure rooms, primarily utilized for EP studies, pacemaker, and ICD device implants. - Engage in left and right heart catheterization, coronary interventions, coronary thrombectomy, temporary pacemaker insertions, cardioversions, among other complex procedures. - Perform interventional radiology tasks, including PICC line insertions, thrombolysis, carotid stenting, and kyphoplasty. - Experience with equipment such as Philips Allura FD20-1, Philips Azurion, GE room, and Merge hemodynamic monitoring. - Work with a supportive team consisting of RNs, RTs, and RCIS under motivated, progressive physicians. - Participate in call requirements 9-11 times per month, including one weekend. - Wear department-provided scrubs; adhere to dress code policies. - Enjoy exposure to a variety of procedures, enhancing future career opportunities. - Be part of a friendly staff in a new state-of-the-art facility with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
