Financial Senior Analyst

The Posting and Procurement (P&P) Team at Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with P&P leadership and boundary partners to support and develop consolidated forward-looking reporting, dashboards, and analysis. As a blend of tech-savvy data wrangler, critical thinker, and creative resolution expert, you'll effectively gather, analyze, synthesize data, and create visualizations to inform operational and strategic decisions across internal business functions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain KPI reporting, ad hoc analysis, and dynamic self-service user dashboards, focusing on operational and financial performance.Gather and analyze large datasets, translating findings into actionable insights that address Posting and Procurement needs.Conduct financial reporting to identify trends and recommend improvements.Analyze month-end results, risks, and opportunities to better inform business decisions.Simplify and standardize reports for key metrics, productivity, and KPIs.Create dashboards, reports, and visuals.Deliver visuals for executive and stakeholder presentations.Collaborate with internal teams to establish metrics and dashboards, leveraging quantitative analysis for strategic decisions.Maintain QA processes to monitor data accuracy.Work on special assignments/projects with the Director of Posting & Procurement.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Outstanding analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with intellectual curiosity.Proficiency in Excel and modeling with large, complex data sets.Experience developing and running custom queries for data analysis, including aggregating, cleaning, and identifying trends.Comfortable creating executive-level presentations.Strong communication skills, able to present views clearly and compellingly to different organizational levels.Ability to build trusted working relationships.Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.Self-starter who can balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting with 4+ years of business experience with a focus on financial analysis. A candidate may also have a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Ph.D with 1+ year of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 8+ years of experience.Proven ability to prepare executive-level presentations and insights, create dashboards.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Advanced MS Excel skills, including logical and reference formulas, financial functions, and formatting for executive presentations.Intermediate MS PowerPoint proficiency.Experience with SQL, Oracle, Tableau, or PowerBI is a strong plus.
USD 77,800.00 - 116,800.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
