$91,000 – $106,000 per year Pinpoint Talent has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Accountant About the Role: Are you an experienced accountant looking for a meaningful role with impact? As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you'll support our client by ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you'll handle complex reconciliations, financial analyses, and technical accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements and general ledger in compliance with GAAP standards.
Oversee all aspects of fixed assets, including evaluating expenditures, maintaining the asset database, preparing journal entries, and performing reconciliations.
Handle compliance filings related to fixed assets, such as Welfare Exemption and the U.S. Census Annual Capital Expenditures Survey.
Conduct financial analysis and prepare journal entries for revenue, expenses, and management fees while managing accruals and reserves.
Perform technical accounting research to ensure accurate documentation in line with GAAP.
Assist in lease accounting under ASC 842 by calculating right-of-use (ROU) assets and liabilities.
Prepare selected account reconciliations and support the annual audit process.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as needed.
What We’re Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license preferred.
Experience: Minimum of six years in accounting, ideally with both public and private experience. Audit experience and ASC 842 knowledge are pluses.
Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, vlookup), strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP and ERP systems (Oracle Fusion or similar). Non-profit experience with government grants and contracts is helpful but not required.
