Leidos currently has an opportunity for a F-22 ISR IIQC Training Specialist at Langley AFB, VA. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide instruction and knowledge to support course design, development, and delivery to ACC Intelligence Initial Qualification Course (IIQC) execution and other training activities as directed by the unit Senior Intelligence Officer, lead IIQC Instructor, or A2 staff.
Support instruction, materials development, course maintenance, incorporate systems/tools across the curricula and other instructional support as required. Deliver pre-mission briefings and deliver academic testing at close of training events.
Training topics shall include ISR collection platform fundamentals (RADAR/IR theory, SIGINT, GEOINT, Special Payloads, Weapons Capabilities/employment and Threats), Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment, and introduction to core Air Force mission sets supported by the ISR community to include: Offensive Counter Air, Defensive Counter Air, Suppression of Enemy Air Defense, Surface Attack, Close Air Support”
What Sets You Apart (Required Qualifications):
TS/SCI security clearance on day 1
Bachelor’s degree & 10+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. *Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
2 years Air Force intelligence experience, having achieved a “Mission Ready” (MR) status in their primary duty position
2 years experience supporting site-specific Mission Design Series (MDS) or a similar mission-type MDS at the tactical unit level or in direct support from the operational level. For this location, MDS is the F-22 Raptor.
Knowledge of 5th Generation Fighter Tactics
Expertise on Air Force Instructions, AFTTP 3-1 documents, and other unit references
Must be able to meet Special Access Program site requirements as applicable
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous multirole or 5th Generation Fighter intelligence instructor experience
Previous instructor experience and Instructor certifications
Combat intelligence support experience, either deployed or from home-station
