Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently seeking a Temporary Material Handler to join our team in Sergeant Bluff, IA! This person will be responsible for loading/unloading of bulk materials, rail yard switching duties and vacation relief. Employees will perform other tasks relating to shipment of products, including gauging or sampling materials for quality, as well as testing shipping tanks for leaks.
Responsibilities:
Loads and unloads materials into and from vehicles. Weighs incoming and outgoing trucks.Operates vehicles and moves controls and observes gauges to measure, mix, and regulate chemical, liquid, or bulk solids transfer.Cleans and maintains material handling equipment.Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device.Maintains inventory, records and location of equipment and materials moved.Performs other duties as assigned by management.Overview:

Requirements
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.Communication Skills - Must speak, read, and write English.Physical Labor required. (standing, walking, bending, pulling, lifting, stairs, etc.)Self-Starter and Team Player.Ability to follow safety procedures.Able to understand manufacturing standards and specifications. (math skills helpful)Flexibility to work - days, nights, weekends, and OT (Peak periods)
