Senior Systems Administrator

*Description:*TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator in support of a new custom AI/GPU system at Space Force's National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) in Colorado Springs, CO. The initial contract is for 12 months and is to be renewed annually, for up to 2 years.
* Experience working with applications that are AI enabled, require high amount of graphical processing units, and visualization that can operate in a secure software defined environment.* Expertise in Secure Linux/RHEL implementations.* Familiar with use of containers in cloud environments* Familiar with HPC Hardware operations and configurations.* Ideally a strong knowledge and experience with HPE Superdome product, but not required.* Must be an effective communicator, acting as sole representative between USSF and HPE, and have the ability to manage intake of tickets, scheduling jobs, and break/fix personnel as needed.*Job Requirements:*
* The Sr System Administrator will be the primary point of contact and only onsite representative of HPE for incidents & problem management on cases.* There will be remote support available from HPE engineering teams for high level tasks and deployable break/fix support for hardware install/repair tasks
* Assist with system build and installation activities (scheduled for September) before transitioning to ongoing support role.* Perform System Performance Tuning and Optimization of hardware layer for workloads and tasks.* Change management support for UEFI, BIOS, OS and network.* Resource planning during system expansion activities.* Review of software stack components (compilers, configurations, operating systems & partitions).* Provide Knowledge transfer to Customer.*Skills:*Linux, Cloud, System administrator, Systems engineering, RHEL, artificial intelligence, machine learning, hardware, performance tuning, Azure, aws, high performance computing, gpu, HPE Superdome, UEFI, BIOS, OS, Network*Top Skills Details:*Linux,Cloud,System administrator,Systems engineering,RHEL,artificial intelligence,machine learning,hardware,performance tuning*Additional Skills & Qualifications:*Education Requirements:
* Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Computer systems, Information Technology Systems, or closely related degree from an appropriately accredited institution.* Master's with 10-15 years of experience; working in classified environments, or* Bachelor's with 10-15 years of experience; in operations analysis and design, systems programming in classified environments.Clearance Requirements:
