Capture Manager

1st Choice, LLC is seeking an experienced Capture Manager responsible for leading the process of acquiring new business for the company,fill and manage the business development "capture" process, which involves identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and leading teams to win new contract.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify and assess new business opportunities,- Perform detailed market research and analysis to qualify new business prospects, including customer budget analysis, competitive environment assessments, and evaluation of incumbent strengths and weaknesses.- Coordinate and lead meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to gather insights on acquisition strategies, contract vehicles, and customer requirements.- Support strategic planning initiatives, including pipeline reviews, opportunity gate reviews, win theme and discriminator workshops, and proposal reviews.- Collaborate closely with Director of Business Development to align business development activities with customer engagement objectives.- Prepare detailed reports on post-execution activities and provide regular updates to senior management on capture status.- Conduct after-action reviews for business opportunity participants to capture lessons learned and refine capture strategies.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a related field- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and capture management- Proven track record of successfully capturing and securing contracts- Strong experience in developing and executing formal capture plans, including business intelligence, market analysis, and competitor activity monitoring.- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to communicate ideas, reports, and presentations effectively.- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, staff, and customers.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desired Characteristics:- Ability to exercise sound judgment within broadly defined policies and guidelines.- Disciplined strategic thinking, with strong business and technical vision.- High level of analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with technical staff, managers, peers, and clients.- High degree of tact and diplomacy when interacting with all stakeholders.
