The Junior Client Support Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Air Force Base, in Colorado.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct day-to-day administration of hardware, software, network and users.Provide in person and Phone Support to MDA End user troubleshooting Computers, Printers, Software, OperatingSystems, and Office Products.Install Hardware at End Users offices (Laptops, Desktops, Monitors, etc).Maintain professional behavior and dress.Contribute to large scale Projects and Events.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.This is a Customer facing position and the position requires some travel.Education and Experience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
HS Diploma (or GED) and 1 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 0 years of general experience
Must have 2 years of related experience in relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers and/or experiencein light programming, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshootingMust be able to lift and carry 25 lbsMust be able to move freely around a large facility, perform under desk work, as well as other physical aspects of thepositionMust have a current DoD 8570 IAT level II certification (e.g. Security , Systems Security Certified Practitioner)Must have an active DoD Secret Security ClearanceDesired Requirements:
Have Customer Service and DoD experiencePosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position is for a day shift electrician that works 8 hours Monday through Friday and covers a weekend every four tofive weeks.Salary
- This position is expected to pay $55,000 - $80,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
Other Position Requirements:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.Must be able to travel, including air travel.HX5 offers a competitive salary and benefits package to include:
