Assist with the month-end closing process, financial statement review and analysis, and compilation of financial statements to be distributed to the Controller and Executive LeadershipPerform account reconciliations and detailed analysesInvestigate discrepancies and inform the Controller of critical issues allowing the organization to make the necessary changesParticipate in developing and administering accounting policies and internal controls, including suggestions for improvements and automation in the accounting spaceDaily cash management, banking, and cash flow projectionsAssist with various financial and overhead audits and requestsSupport with FAR compliance and annual overhead preparationAdminister the project reporting process to communicate profitability to various executives and project directorsAid in the maintenance of sub-ledgers within the accounting software
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum of 3 - 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced public corporate business environmentExperience in project-based accounting preferredProficiency with financial-based software; Deltek Accounting software preferredExperience in the Architecture/Engineering (A&E) industry is a plusCPA requiredProficient in GAAP and FAR regulations
RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
Minimum Salary: 75000.000 Maximum Salary: 80000.000 Salary Unit: Yearly
