ATSS has a client in Mobile, AL looking for 2 Fitter/ Welders.
Pay is $19-$25 based on experience.
Monday to Friday
Looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience. Must be able to read blueprints.
The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read blueprints and work effectively in a fabrication facility. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality welds, and maintaining safety standards throughout the process.
Duties- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate metal components.- Perform various welding techniques including GMAW (Gas Mig Arc Welding) FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding to assemble parts.
- Most welding will be performed on stainless steel propellers- Utilize power tools and equipment such as press brake machines, micrometers, and forklifts safely and effectively.- Conduct inspections of welds and fittings to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed on the construction site.
Experience- Proven experience in welding and fitting roles, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.- Familiarity with operating press brake machines and various power tools is preferred.- Experience working on construction sites is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to adapt to different environments.- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform precise measurements using tools like micrometers.- A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work is essential for success in this role.
