TravelPreparing, administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.

Submission RequirementsTravelers for this position need to be okay floating between 2 MyMichigan hospitals in Midland and in Saginaw (32 miles apart.)

The location being applied for will be the main assigned site, but may be asked to float to the other hospital for critical staffing support.

The intention from MyMichigan is that they will not float at all. 2+ years of experience - RequiredMed/Surg Observation experience - RequiredGeneral Med/Surg (Oncology, Obs, Hospice, Medical & Surgical Patients)Recent traveler experience - highly preferred Profile Requirements:Work HistorySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two yearsLicensure & Certifications (MI State License/Lara & BLS - AHA)Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates - 50 mile radius restriction, for ONLY 1-13week contract)

About the FacilityAscension St. Mary’s of Saginaw, a 268-bed acute care inpatient facility; Ascension St. Mary’s Towne Center, an ambulatory surgery center, wound care center, emergency department and short stay unit facility; Ascension St. Joseph in Tawas, a 47-bed acute inpatient facility, and Ascension St. Mary’s of Standish, a 25-bed critical access hospital and 29-bed skilled nursing facility will join MyMichigan Health.
