The below is required:•BLS through AHA•Management of telemetry•Interpretation of cardiac rhythms•Management of dysrhythmias•O2 Protocol•Non-invasive airway management•Peripheral line care/management•Isolation precaution/PPE•Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone).•Rapid response team activation•Computerized documentation•Patient ratios:o RN 1:4-6o CNA 1:6-13 on days and1:10-13 on nights•1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele/PCU•No first time travelers

Floating to West Valley is part of the floating requirements.

Salem Health Float Pool TeamThe Salem Health Float Pool (FP) Team supports all adult inpatient units in the organization.This includes, but is not limited to, the Emergency Department, Psychiatric Medical Center, intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient rehabilitation, vascular access and inpatient adult care units. Float Pool team members are highly flexible and knowledgeable of adult inpatient care. The team also supports our sister hospital, West Valley Hospital, in Dallas, Oregon.
