NO TRAVEL PAIRSMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelersPATIENT POPULATION: Adults to GeriatricsRATIO: 1:2UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPICSPECIALTY: Registered NurseEMPLOYMENT_TYPE: Travel/ContractCONTRACT_LENGTH: 11 monthsDESCRIPTION: Responsibilities may include but not limited to interpreting & managing dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure management, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, adherence to IV insulin protocols, care for patients with GI surgery, genitourinary/renal complications, chronic/acute renal failure. Skilled in IV therapy, accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, management of continuous IV sedation, titrating cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, management of CVA/acute stroke, and assistance with BiPAP and CPAP, chest tube insertion/removal, ventilated patient care, and interpretation of ABGs.Job Requirements

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not GuaranteedWEEKENDS: EO (Every Other)HOLIDAYS: Must work at least one major holiday if it falls in assignment period. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if neededCOMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
