PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Previous critical care experience required (ED or ICU), previous IR or procedural based experience preferredPACU & Transport experience preferred.?Not accepting new to service line/new hires at this time

SPECIFIC JOB DETAILS:

Prepping and recovering for radiologic procedures including inserting IV, drawing labs, administering sedation medication, monitoring vital signs, helping with pt scheduling and building patient portfolios, maintaining throughput of inpatient procedures.Transporting, Assisting, Monitoring patients in MRI.Looking at MI worklist and prepping on call proceduresAssisting in on call procedures in IRCalling inpatients to verify NPO status, blood thinners, pertinent labsBuild outpatient folders.Matrix/Clario monitoringChart audits (Moderate Sedation Audits)MI Tool Audits in real timeStock Supplies in procedural areas, other department areas if applicableCode Cart Checks, Blood Glucose QC,

We are deeply committed to providing the highest quality of clinical care along with an excellent patient care experience. This position will help support our Medical Imaging teams at Banner Del Webb and Banner Boswell.

DAY IN THE LIFEProvide clinical nursing support for patients undergoing IR procedures to include outpatients, inpatients, and emergency patients.Work closely with IR team of techs, nurses, and physicians to perform IR procedures for Sofia.

Number of staff working alongside prospective team member:A typical day will include working alongside approximately 1 Radiologist and 1 PA at each locationAt Banner Del Webb - 5 nurses, 2 IR techAt Banner Boswell- 7 nurses and 3 IR techs

Number of patients seen daily:Approximately 12 depending on cases and length of procedures

Types of procedures ect:Image guided interventional radiology procedures performed with moderate sedation (including Angio, CT, and Ultrasound guidance).Procedure types range from port placements, biopsies and Y90s, to emergent thrombectomy and/or hemorrhage procedures.18% night shift differential and a flat rate of $3/hour weekend shift differential where applicable
