Unit Information:6B is a telemetry unit that provides care for the acutely ill inpatient.
Our number one DRG is sepsis, and we care for patients with respiratory/covid, cardiac issues, renal disease, GI bleeds/complications, and strokes.
6B nurses are trained to monitor high flow oxygen devices such as bipap and airvo and are stroke certified among other advanced skills. 6B staff is engaged in the advancement of the profession of nursing.
We have several co-workers currently working through continuing education/obtaining different degrees.
