Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assembly Technician to join our Hardline Department. This position involves hands-on assembly work, including operating machinery and tools, to ensure the production and packaging of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly, be proficient with CNC machines, and possess the ability to handle moderate lifting as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:Assemble products
by riveting components using a rivet gun according to production specifications.Install metal stabilization rings
to products, ensuring all components are properly secured and aligned.Operate a CNC Router , programming and setting up cuts for precise measurements, and maintaining the machine as needed.Perform packaging duties , including preparing finished products for shipment.Follow safety protocols
at all times, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.Conduct quality control checks on products during assembly and packaging to ensure adherence to company standards.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about production status and any issues that arise.Requirements:
Proficiency in operating CNC cutting machines
and experience in cutting and shaping materials.Experience with riveting tools
(rivet guns) and assembly processes, particularly with metal components.Physical ability
to lift products up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs] during assembly and packaging.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow production instructions.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role.Knowledge of safety practices in a production environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
