Marketing Manager

Avant is seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to help develop and refine our marketing strategies for Credit Card and Personal Loan products. The Marketing Manager will be a key driver of strategy and performance, collaborating with internal teams to ensure success against growth targets while retaining acquired customers through customer lifecycle efforts. Using a data-driven, audience-first approach, this role will be highly analytical in order to target high quality prospects with precision. You will be primarily responsible for leading Direct Mail, Email, and Digital strategy and have the opportunity to branch out to other marketing channels across acquisition, lifecycle, and brand.
What you do:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and roadmaps for Credit Card and Personal Loan products.Lead and mentor a small team, helping them grow into stronger team members.Conduct detailed data analysis to evaluate marketing performance and customer insights.Build and maintain measurement frameworks to measure the profitability of marketing initiatives.Monitor and report on marketing performance and ROI.Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across channels.Collaborate with product development, sales, and other departments.Manage your channel's marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.Dig into the data and perform analysis to support strategic decisions.Drive growth initiatives for Credit Card and Personal Loan products.Develop and present business cases for new marketing initiatives.Why you're a fit:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or comparable experience6+ years of marketing experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role.MBA or Master's degree preferred.Strong leadership and team management skills.Strong experience in direct mail, email, or digital marketing (the more channels the better!)Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Experience with SQL and Python.Financial Services industry experience.Preferred but not required:
Experience with Looker or Tableau.Experience with marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook, Google Analytics, Braze).Experience with Direct MailCheck out our Avant Blog!
