Air General, a national cargo handling company, is seeking a full-time Office Agents at our Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) location. This position has a focus on customer service and strict adherence to safety and security procedures. Duties include documentation, data entry and great customer service and you must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job responsibilities:
Keep required training up to date within allowed timelinesAdhere to all FAA, Airport, US Airways and Air General safety and security procedures, and immediately report any discrepancies to a supervisor or managerReview and understand all shipping documentationPrepare documentation for tracing action, perform follow-up, and keep customer informed of progressProvide customers with information concerning the status of their shipmentsTake special measures to ensure proper handling of valuables, perishables, live animal shipments, and special loadsBe fully aware of Customs rules and regulationPresent cargo documents to U.S. Customs, Immigration, USDA and any other relevant agencies to achieve the necessary releases and clearancesObtain Customs Log Number and appropriate flight clearancesReconcile Master and House air waybills, as applicableEnter required data into customer computerVerify booking details and make corrections where applicableAny other duties assigned by supervisors or managersRequirements:
Customer Service experienceMust be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checksMust be able to pass a drug testHigh school diploma or GED preferredMust possess a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to obtain valid airport I.D. badgeMust be able to push, pull or lift up to 70lbsMust have basic computer skillsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust possess the ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English languageMust be available to work varied shifts, including nights, and occasionally on weekends, and holidaysBenefits Offered:
