Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities:
• Provide accurate and timely responses to Technology and Security-related due diligence or RFI/RFP requests from internal and external clients.
• Review and provide written comments/revisions to customer-facing contracts based on analysis of NYL Information Security policies and standards.
• Maintain a repository of approved responses via updates to the response Library.
• Maintain a deep understanding of organization-wide objectives, interactions, issues, and risks.
• Ensure proposed responses are complete and accurate Liaise with Risk Management, Technology, and business areas, as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business Management (IT-focused, preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in an Information Security Regulatory role, preferably in a financial institution setting.
• Working knowledge of Information Security Policies and Standards; ability to apply understanding for complete and accurate responses to internal and external clients.
• Understand and utilize compliance reporting and organization skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Works independently and with minimal direction to complete responses.
• Ability to work with Risk Management, Technology and business areas.
• Critical thinking ability to define the problem, apply research methods, and think strategically to recommend a course of action.
• Able to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
