Shift: Monday-Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm CST)

As a Human Resources Associate, you will support various aspects of HR operations, including staffing, benefits administration, onboarding, training, performance management, compliance, record keeping, and special projects. Key responsibilities may include recruiting and interviewing candidates, handling employee relations issues, managing benefits enrollment and communication, facilitating employee orientations and trainings, assisting with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions, ensuring legal compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining confidential personnel records, and participating in ad-hoc projects or initiatives. Ultimately, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment, promoting company values, and supporting organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:Recruitment and Staffing:
Assisting in the recruitment and hiring process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.Employee Relations:
Addressing employee concerns and questions, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, and maintaining positive relationships between employees and management.Benefits Administration:
Managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, and communicating information about these programs to employees.Onboarding and Orientation:
Coordinating orientation and onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to be successful in their roles.Training and Development:
Identifying training needs, coordinating training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.Performance Management:
Assisting in performance evaluation processes, setting performance goals, and addressing performance issues when necessary.Compliance:
Ensuring the organization complies with relevant employment laws and regulations, including equal opportunity, anti-discrimination, and workplace safety.Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate personnel files, tracking employee data, and generating reports as needed.Compensation:
Assisting in compensation planning, salary surveys, and benchmarking against market rates.Special Projects:
Participating in special projects or initiatives as assigned, such as diversity and inclusion efforts, wellness programs, or culture building activities.Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Two years of administrative experienceOne year of human resources experienceExcellent written and verbal communicationThe ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize quicklyStrong attention to detailTeam-orientedExcellent organization/coordination abilityAbility to adapt in a quick-paced environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to effectively work autonomously or with a team
