NJID has an immediate opening for a Supervisor of Adult Community Support Services (SACSS). The qualified candidate will provide coverage for employment & home & community services & carry a caseload. The SACSS will provide training, supervision, & field monitoring for staff, review documentation of services rendered, & submit billing as required. This highly independent position requires excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to problem-solve. This position works closely with the program director in program development and expansion and with management and staff to ensure all client admissions run smoothly.
Job Responsibilities of a SACSS:
Provide day-to-day supervision of Employment Specialists & Individual Support Workers.Develop a working knowledge of the standards the agency & funding entity sets.Review and approve service reports according to DVRS/DDD standards & requirements.Develop employer contacts for successful job placements & collaborations.Plan, develop & implement service plans.Provide weekly and monthly field monitoring, ensuring quality support is provided.Maintain appropriate correspondence with families, community agencies, employers, and other stakeholders.Assist supervisor with any special projects/grants as needed.Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human service-related field and at least 2 years of experience working with persons with disabilities providing employment support.Supervisory experience preferred.A valid driver's license is in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.Strong organizational, written and communication skills.Position Details:

Hours Per Work Week: 35 Weekly Work Schedule: Flexible
