Senior Principal, Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing data, reporting, and analytical solutions to support the revenue management department. This role is for the SME of revenue management related data and is expected to work closely and in partnership with the other BI SMEs across the organization and brand. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for finding new ways to solve problems.Core Competencies

Responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving the revenue management daily, weekly, and monthly reporting including a dashboard driven commercial-wide performance meeting.Continuously improve the self-service capabilities and access to insights for the broader revenue management team by partnering with IT to create a strategy, roadmap, and documentation.Collaborate with Product, Finance, Technology, Analytics, Marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment on commercial data, KPIs, and our technology stack.Perform frequent ad-hoc analyses by utilizing data, relationships, and storytelling to develop and maintain a single source of truth for commercial revenue performance.Evaluate performance and post-appointment trends to identify and leverage opportunities to improve the revenue potential for each office.Must be excited to build this function from scratch (new KPIs, goals, reports, playbooks, etc.) in an industry filled with opportunity.Requirements/Qualifications

Ability to meet deadlines, service level commitments, and prioritize multiple tasks independently.High proficiency in SQL (Big Query preferred), Excel, Tableau required. Analytics tools, such as Python and R a plus.Detail-oriented, analytical ability and strong oral/written communication skills are also required.Must be able to work well with others in a time-sensitive team environment with a flexible attitude focused on delivering outcomes.Must have the ability to independently structure/resolve problems by incorporating/balancing relevant factors and grasping mathematical concepts related to revenue management.3-5 years of Business Intelligence experience required.Undergraduate degree required with major in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field preferred.Master's degree in related field a plusExperience in the Heath Care Industry or in Revenue Management a plus
